acceptance by mail
The acceptance of all offer made by mail is complete upon depositing tire letter of acceptance in the postoffice, postage prepaid, and directed to the offeror's proper address, provided it is done in proper season and before receiving any intimation of a revocation of the offer; it is immaterial whether the letter actually reaches the offeror. 17 Am J2d Contr § 48.
