Actio personalis moritur cum persona
A personal action dies with the person. 1 Am J2d, Abat & R § 51. Such principle of the common law is in modern times of little more than historical interest, since it has been abrogated by statute in most, if not all, American jurisdictions. 1 Am J2d Abat & R § 47. See survival acts.
