fraudulent practice

Literally, the practice of fraud that is, fraudulent conduct. In reference to conduct proscribed by a Blue Sky Law, all acts which have a tendency to deceive or mislead the purchasing public, whether or not they originate in an actual evil design or contrivance to perpetrate fraud or do injury to the rights of another person.
