preliminary mandatory injunction

An injunction in a form rarely granted, it being granted only on a clear showing of necessity of preventing irreparable or serious injury, the injunction calling for the performance of some act on the part of the party against whom it is granted. 28 Am J Rev ed Inj § 22.
